Welcome to www.vanalegra.com (referred to as "we", "us", "our", or "Vanalegra"). By accessing this website, booking a session, purchasing a service or engaging with any content provided through Vanalegra, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

These terms are here to create a safe, respectful and supportive experience for everyone involved while protecting both you as the client and the integrity of this practice.

Thank you for being here and for choosing to work with us.

1. Nature of Reiki Services

Vanalegra offers Reiki, energy healing, spiritual wellbeing support, meditation, educational content, and complementary wellness services intended to encourage relaxation, emotional wellbeing, self-awareness, energetic balance and personal growth.

These services are complementary in nature and are not a substitute for:

  • medical advice
  • diagnosis
  • treatment
  • psychotherapy
  • emergency healthcare

We do not diagnose medical conditions, prescribe medication or guarantee specific outcomes. Clients are encouraged to continue working with qualified healthcare professionals for any physical or mental health concerns.

2. Client Responsibility

By booking a session or engaging with any services, you acknowledge that you are responsible for your own wellbeing, choices and healthcare decisions before, during and after sessions.

Please inform us prior to your appointment of any relevant:

  • medical conditions
  • injuries
  • pregnancy
  • sensitivities
  • mental health concerns
  • recent surgeries or treatments

This helps to ensure that sessions can be adapted appropriately.

3. Pregnancy Disclaimer

Reiki is generally considered a gentle and supportive complementary therapy. However, if you are pregnant, trying to conceive, undergoing fertility treatment or experiencing a high-risk pregnancy, please inform us before your session.

Reiki sessions are not intended to replace medical care, midwifery support or professional advice during pregnancy.

By attending a session, you confirm that you take full responsibility for your wellbeing and healthcare decisions.

4. Confidentiality & Privacy

Your privacy is deeply respected. Any personal information collected through bookings, contact forms, intake forms or sessions will be stored securely and used only for purposes related to your care, appointments, and communication.

Your information will never be sold or shared with third parties unless required by law or where there is a concern regarding safety or harm.

Under UK GDPR regulations, you have the right to:

  • request access to your data
  • request correction or deletion of your information
  • withdraw consent for communications at any time

5. Booking & Payment

Appointments, packages, workshops and services must be booked in advance. Payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed.

Prices may occasionally change, however confirmed bookings will always be honoured at the agreed rate.

6. Cancellation & Refund Policy

Life happens, and where possible I kindly ask for at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.

  • Cancellations made more than 24 hours before your appointment: full refund or free rescheduling.
  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before your appointment: 50% of the session fee is charged.
  • No-shows: the full session fee is charged.

Due to the personalised, energetic, and time-based nature of services:

  • refunds are not offered once a session has taken place
  • refunds are not available for missed appointments
  • completed distance Reiki sessions are non-refundable

If a session needs to be cancelled by me for any reason, you will be offered either a full refund or the option to reschedule.

7. Changes to Services

Vanalegra reserves the right to change any course or service at any time for any reason without explanation.

8. Distance Reiki Sessions

For distance Reiki sessions, clients are responsible for ensuring they are in a quiet, comfortable, and safe environment during the agreed appointment time. Experiences and outcomes vary from person to person and no specific result can be guaranteed.

9. Boundaries & Respect

We aim to create a safe, supportive, and inclusive space for all clients. Any inappropriate, abusive, discriminatory, or disrespectful behaviour will result in the session being ended immediately and future bookings may be declined.

By using this website, booking services, or purchasing offerings through Vanalegra, you confirm that:

  • you are at least 18 years old or have parental/guardian consent
  • you understand the nature of Reiki and complementary wellness services
  • you voluntarily choose to participate
  • you accept these Terms & Conditions

11. Changes to These Terms

These Terms & Conditions may be updated occasionally to reflect changes in services, legal requirements, or business practices. Continued use of this website or services indicates acceptance of any updated terms.
